A necessity, which enlightens the human mind and opens doorways to vast possibilities. The library at DPS, Vikasnagar has great resources and is a knowledge centre with a variety of easily accessible books.

The school library is computerized, well equipped, with HVAC and has numerous books. It consists of a wide range of reference books, magazines, journals, encyclopaedias, and newspapers. The library is regularly updated to include the latest reading material that will help in making classroom teaching more effective. It is mandatory for all the classes to have one period in a week as the library period. The students are issued the library cards on which the senior and the junior students can issue 1 book for a period of one week.
The library has sections of books ranging from textbooks and reference books to fiction and general knowledge, encyclopaedia, and material for competitive exams. Since the school aims at making learning a fun process, there is an assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby- related books, books on travel, animal care, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology, and other topics.
