Mr. Sanjay Agarwal - With over 40 years of experience in the Education Sector, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal is the Founder of Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT), Himalayan College and Himalayan College of Paramedical Sciences. RIT is an engineering, paramedical, management and agriculture college established in 2005 with over 2000 students. He is an MBA from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and an alumnus of The Doon School, Dehradun.
- Dr. Gunmeet Bindra - Ex Principal, Welham Boys’ School, an alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics and Calcutta University, is the first woman to head a boys’ boarding school in India. She is currently the principal of Daly College, Indore.
An accomplished educationist with over 30 years of experience in teaching and school administration, has held many coveted positions, including member of the CBSE Governing Body, as well as the CBSE Affiliation Committee. She is also the British Council School Ambassador in India and a member of the Board of Trustees of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition (IBSC), as the current Vice President of the IBSC-Asia Pacific region.
Of the numerous awards conferred upon Dr. Bindra, a few which deserve mention here are the CBSE National Award for Teachers in 2014 presented by the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the Bharat Vidya Vibhushan Puraskar Certificate of Educational Excellence of the Global Achievers Foundation, presented by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, the Pride of Doon Award by the Doon Citizens Council, Dehradun presented by the Governor of Uttarakhand, the Rajiv Gandhi Education Excellence Award, Certificate for Outstanding Achievement in the field of Education, the Outstanding Achievement Award 2016 by the Garhwal Post for Education & Social Leadership and the prestigious ‘Uttarakhand Ratan Award’. In February 2017, Dr. Bindra was conferred upon the National Award for Instructional Leadership in the Principals’ category of the awards at the NDTV-Educomp Education Awards. She has most recently won Extraordinary Leadership Award 2019, by Education World.
