Mother's Day

The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment. This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss was enjoyment by one and all. The children irrespective of nationalities, castes, cultures and genders have emotions binding them to their mothers. Keeping this bonding emotion in mind, the KG and Primary section of DPS VIKASNAGAR had a special celebration on Mother’s Day on 12th May 2023 held in school. Teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of celebrating Mother’s Day in a child’s life through effective songs. Mother’s Day Celebration reminded our little ones that we should not neglect our duties as sons and daughters. The students of Pre-Primary students had something special planned and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They made beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. It was a pleasure watching the children perform Action Songs and Dance a performance especially dedicated to mother’s was sung by our teacher. There was a Ramp walk for the mothers to feel special and walk down the carpet on this special day followed by refreshments. What more could have made “Mother’s Day” special than this? Heart-warming feelings filled the air with gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement. The bulletin boards were decorated with beautiful cards and conveyed an important message of being humble, respectful and obedient towards parents. Our Principal Ms Soneyaa Kumar inspired the children to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways that makes parents happy and content. All in all, it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each child which left an indubitable mark on their innocent hearts.
